Our mission

CIVICA is a European project, funded by Erasmus+, that aims to promote innovative models of civic and sustainable agriculture among young adults, unemployed people, and NEETs, while encouraging the development of new civic agriculture initiatives in both urban and rural areas.

What will we do?

• Exchange best practices from Italy, Croatia and Greece and conduct research on opportunities for civic agriculture initiatives

• Organize study visits in Italy, Greece, and Croatia

• Deliver workshops, events, and multimedia content

• Develop a digital platform featuring practical manuals for aspiring civic farmers, mentoring tools, and a virtual exhibition

Project duration

The project, started in October 2025, will run until December 2026 and will conclude with public events in Greece and Croatia, as well as a final conference in Italy.
